Co-founded and created by Rainer Becker in London, Zuma will bring a flavor of its award-winning contemporary Japanese cuisine and informal izakaya dining concept to the Balearic Islands for a limited-time pop-up for summer 2022.
Zuma Ibiza presents the concept of the group on the roof of the Ibiza Gran Hotel, located in the marina. The setting for the pop-up restaurant will be inspired by the elements of earth, fire, air and water, with the sushi bar and open kitchen located at the center of the space, and the blues of the marina and the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop.
Guests will be able to sample their favorite signature dishes, such as sesame-spiced beef tenderloin; Black cod marinated in Miso; yuzu tiger prawns; and Chilli Ginger Grilled Sea Bass, all prepared with the highest quality ingredients. As you would expect from any Zuma restaurant, the cocktail menu will include contemporary classics and premium sakes designed to complement the Japanese flavors on the menu.
The rooftop venue is set to become an island hotspot this year, offering not only high-quality food and cocktails, but also a full-fledged social club. Part of the restaurant will be a dedicated drinks area with a resident DJ, where guests can soak up the music and ambiance throughout the summer on the long Balearic nights.
Zuma was established in London in 2002 by creator and co-founder Rainer Becker, who fell in love with Japan after spending 6 years working there as executive chef of the Park Hyatt. Today, Zuma has locations around the world, including New York, Dubai, Rome, Miami and Mykonos, as well as new Spanish offerings.
