The Westin Yokohama, Marriott’s newest Japanese hotel

Marriott’s newest hotel, The Westin Yokohama, is now welcoming guests.

In total, the hotel offers 373 rooms in Yokohama, a city just southwest of Tokyo and a key port in Japan. The hotel is located in the city’s new central business district, offering easy access to areas such as Japan’s largest Chinatown and the city’s Sankeien Garden, and just a 25-minute drive from the Haneda airport in Tokyo.

All 373 rooms feature Weston’s signature Heavenly Bed along with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Yokohama cityscape. Each of the in-room bathrooms also include Westin’s Heavenly Rain Showers and other amenities.

For food and drink, the hotel offers five different restaurants, including an all-day dining restaurant inspired by French seaside towns called Brasserie du Quai and a contemporary izakaya-style restaurant that offers produce from the seas, fields, and forests. locals called Kissui-sen.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, called Iron Bay, offers a made-to-order grill menu featuring meats, seafood, and farm-to-table vegetables and fruits, all locally sourced.

For wellness, the hotel also offers 10,000 square feet of facilities, including Japan’s first Heavenly Spa By Westin, as well as four different treatment rooms. it also offers a heated indoor pool, a WestinWorkout fitness studio, and a local RunWestin program that offers jogging maps of nearby areas, including three- or five-mile loops.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including a 5,000 square foot Grand Ballroom and four other meeting spaces.

The hotel is Westin’s sixth property in Japan, joining others in Hokkaido, Kyoto, Osaka, Sendai and Tokyo. The new Yokohama property will participate in Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott’s members-only travel program.
