The owners – who already have branches in London’s Cheltenham, Bristol and Battersea – say diners will find a range of spaces in the restaurant to enjoy their meals, as well as a free-standing marble bar and an open sushi kitchen with raised seats.
Outside, the venue will benefit from an additional 25-seat Japanese-inspired terrace, offering guests the opportunity to dine amidst a canopy of vibrant golden acers created by Warren Bushaway of London Event Florist.
KIBOU Solihull’s menu will center around the group’s signature sushi rolls, including their famous volcano roll, salmon, avocado and tobiko futomaki, fried tempura and served with KIBOU’s house sauce, as well as more traditional favorites such as the hand-pressed nigiri and the freshest sashimi.

It aims to satisfy all Japanese food lovers and those willing to try Japanese food for the first time.
The owners say KIBOU’s diverse menu includes an extensive vegan offering, a generous range of “moriawase” sharing platters to explore, and an elegantly rich menu of Japanese-inspired desserts.
To complement the restaurant offering, KIBOU will also feature a stand-alone bar serving Japanese-inspired cocktails, non- and low-temperature options, a selection of Japanese whiskey, sake and umeshu, Japanese brewed beers and highs. -authentic balls.
Sam Horswill, COO of KIBOU Restaurants Ltd, said: “We are delighted to continue our journey of expansion for the KIBOU brand with the launch of a new site in Solihull this spring. Following the successful opening of KIBOU Clifton last October, these are exciting times for the brand, with further acquisitions planned for the next 12 months and a period of sustained growth expected over the next 5 years.
“The new site will be led by an accomplished Managing Director, Justin Davies, who currently co-manages our flagship site in Cheltenham and is extremely well placed to oversee the launch and recruit a local team around him.”
He added: “We can’t wait to bring our vibrant, contemporary slice of Japan to the West Midlands and be part of the vibrant and historic town of Solihull.”
